CORI Checks: Every person who volunteers in school needs to be CORI checked. Bring your ID/driver's license and the last six digits of your Social Security number to the Main Office. You will need to fill out a short form. Allow time for your CORI information to be submitted for processing, at least several days in advance of your volunteer commitments.

Other Roles

Classroom Coordinators: Facilitate communication between classroom families, the PTO, and the class teacher, and help manage class gifts. Learn more and submit a form here to express your interest by October 1st, 2022.

 

Grade-Level Field Trip Coordinators: Assist teachers in planning educational field trips and in-class presentations. Responsibilities include communicating with teachers and destination locations or visitor programs, scheduling buses, recruiting chaperones, and managing contracts and invoices. This role takes and estimated 6-10 hours for the year. You will have support from the Enrichment coordinators to guide you. Spirit Wear Coordinator: Manage the ordering and delivery of Hardy School tees and sweatshirts. If you are interested or would like to learn more, please contact katrina@hardypto.com.

 

Library Volunteer Coordinator: The Hardy Library is in need of a volunteer coordinator to organize and manage library volunteers. The coordinator will work with library staff (K-5 librarian Renae Nichols and library paraprofessionals Danielle Jensen and Justine Bloch) to help recruit and train library volunteers and to communicate with volunteers on behalf of the library staff.
